Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver mobile wound care directly to patients in their homes and SNFs across the Phoenix area. The team travels locally within the designated region and provides comprehensive care, training, and support.

Note that this is not a remote role; clinicians must reside in Central Phoenix and be willing to drive to patient homes. Extensive training is provided, with competitive compensation and 24/7 support.”

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA in AZ.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and liability insurance; local travel required.
• No wound care experience required; extensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure patient satisfaction with care and service.
• Educate patients and manage their care plans.
• Debride wounds by methods performed during visits.
• Apply topical wound care and other products as needed.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes.
