Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a mobile wound care provider delivering advanced care in patients' homes and SNFs. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a fast-growing team focused on healing wounds and improving overall health.

You will travel locally within your designated region to see patients in their homes or SNFs. Must be licensed as an NP or PA in CA and be willing to drive to patient homes. This is not a remote position; local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA.
• CPR certification.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance; local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure patient satisfaction with care provided.
• Educate patients and manage ongoing care.
• Debride wounds by various methods during visits.
• Apply topical wound care and other products.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-ups.
