Job summary

Esler Companies | Renewal by Andersen is seeking a full-time Service Technician to visit customers' homes, assess issues with windows and doors, and perform repairs and maintenance using carpentry and trades skills. You will diagnose installations, document service work, and communicate findings clearly to homeowners while keeping a professional, respectful experience.

A valid U.S. driver's license and comfort with Apple devices are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in carpentry, remodeling, residential construction, window or door installation, or a related skilled trade.
• Ability to install a window or door from start to finish, including trim work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organized and complete service documentation accurately.
• Comfort using Apple devices and mobile applications.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on windows and doors.
• Visit customers' homes to assess concerns with windows and doors.
• Diagnose installation, product, and performance issues.
• Complete repairs and service work accurately and efficiently.
• Explain findings and next steps clearly to homeowners.
• Evaluate proper window and door installation and operation.
• Complete and submit warranty and service documentation on time.
• Maintain a professional, respectful experience in every customer's home.
