Job summary

The ASPCA’s Community Medicine (CM) team delivers high-quality veterinary care through stationary and mobile clinics, serving underserved communities in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. As the Registered Veterinary Technician Staff and Flow Manager, you will direct workflow, assist veterinarians, and coordinate daily operations across the ASPCA Mobile Clinics in the Greater LA area.

Qualifications

• Must have California State Registered Veterinary Technician license.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician functions including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation and assistance.
• Work with staff veterinarians, technicians and assistants to support HQHVSN and PPC.
• Use low-stress handling to provide a safe, compassionate environment for animals in our care, our staff, and our clients.
• Communicate with clients using a kind, nonjudgmental approach; assist with intake and discharge.
