Vellum Health seeks a dedicated Vascular Access Registered Nurse to join our mobile healthcare team across Texas. You will assess, place, and manage vascular access devices for IV therapy, using ultrasound guidance and evidence-based protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role requires strong clinical assessment, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and specialists. Travel to procedures is required, and accurate documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license and current licensure.
• 1.5–2 years of vascular access RN experience.
• Proficiency with PICC, midlines and peripheral IVs.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.
• Willingness to travel for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform insertion, maintenance and management of vascular access devices.
• Assess patients to determine the most suitable device.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and specialists for comprehensive care.
• Document procedures accurately and timely.
• Identify and address potential complications and infections.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in complication prevention.
