Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Texas.
• 1.5-2 years of vascular access RN experience.
• Proficiency with vascular access devices (PICC, midlines, peripheral IVs).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Vascular access procedures: insert, maintain, and manage devices per protocols.
• Patient assessment to select appropriate access based on needs.
• Patient education on procedures, care, and device maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists for comprehensive care.
• Documentation of vascular access procedures accurately and timely.
• Identify and manage complications (infection, thrombosis, occlusions) and provide needed care.
