Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• 1.5–2 years of vascular access RN experience is required.
• Proficiency with PICC, midlines, and peripheral IVs.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for procedures across Texas.

Responsibilities

• Vascular access procedures: insertion, maintenance, and management of vascular access devices (e.g., ultrasound guided peripheral IVs, PICC lines, midlines).
• Patient assessment to determine appropriate vascular access device based on needs and conditions.
• Patient education on procedures, device care, and maintenance; ensure understanding and comfort.
• Collaboration with physicians, other nurses, and specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Documentation of vascular access procedures accurately and timely.
• Troubleshooting and complications management: address infections, thrombosis, occlusions; provide necessary care.
