Ideal candidates have 1.5–2 years of vascular access experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills to educate patients and families. Travel for procedures is required, and licensure in Texas is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Texas.
• 1.5–2 years of vascular access RN experience.
• Proficient in PICC lines, midlines, peripheral IVs.
• Strong clinical assessment and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.
• Able to travel for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform insertion, maintenance, and management of vascular access devices.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate devices.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Document vascular access procedures accurately and timely.
• Identify and address complications such as infection or thrombosis.
