Vellum Health is seeking a dedicated Vascular Access Registered Nurse to join our mobile healthcare team in Texas. The RN will specialize in assessment, placement, and management of vascular access devices across diverse patient settings.

You will perform ultrasound-guided insertions, educate patients, and collaborate with MDs and fellow clinicians while traveling to various locations. This role demands strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license is required.
• 1.5–2 years of vascular access RN experience.
• Proficiency with PICC lines, midlines and peripheral IVs.
• Strong assessment, troubleshooting, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform insertion, maintenance, and management of vascular access devices.
• Assess patients and select appropriate access device.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and device care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists.
• Document procedures accurately and timely.
• Identify and address infections, thrombosis, and occlusions.
