Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Territory Manager to serve customers across a defined Hartford territory with a mobile, fully stocked store. You will cold-call prospects, present solutions, and drive sales in industrial hardware across sectors such as transportation, aerospace, and manufacturing.

You must reside in the territory, own or lease a mobile store vehicle, maintain a clean driving history, and be able to kneel and bend to access the store floor.

Qualifications

• Analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills are required.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications is expected.
• Outside industrial sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect & Sell: Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calling on businesses near existing customers. Face-to-face sales calls on cold and warm prospects.
• Present Solutions: Demonstrate products using sample boards, demos, and your mobile store.
• Manage Operations: Keep your mobile store clean, functional, and well-marketed; submit daily sales reports.
• Data Integrity: Maintain customer contact records using company software.
