Job summary

NexGen is seeking a Site Safety Manager for our team in Irving, Texas. You will lead safety programs, conduct audits, and guide project teams to maintain regulatory compliance on large-scale commercial/industrial sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in safety management. CPR and OSHA 30-hour certifications are required, with Spanish language skills strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in large scale commercial or industrial project management, including at least 3 years of management level safety profession experience.
• Current certification in CPR and OSHA 30-hour construction safety and industry standards required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce safety policies to maintain a safe workplace on site.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, and follow-up assessments to ensure compliance.
• Plan, implement, and conduct safety and environmental health programs on project sites.
• Provide guidance on health and safety to the project management team and verify regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
