Job summary

NexGen Contracting is looking for a Site Safety Manager in Boardman, OR, to ensure a safe workplace and provide overall health and safety guidance on projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in large scale project management and be certified in CPR and OSHA 30-hour construction safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in large scale commercial or industrial project management.
• At least 3 years of management level safety profession experience.
• Current certification in CPR and OSHA 30-hour construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and establish policies and procedures for workers.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, and follow-up assessments.
• Plan and conduct safety and compliance training programs.
• Guide project management on health and safety regulations.
• Develop Emergency Action Plans and manage incident notifications.
