Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to travel to customer sites in Michigan for maintenance, repairs, and warranty recalls. You will diagnose issues, perform authorized repairs, road-test vehicles, and document results using mobile software.

Success requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with efficient time management. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18+ required.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; basic sales aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and on-site locations to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and warranty recall services.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform authorized repairs on-site.
• Be knowledgeable and skilled in performing warranty recalls remotely.
• Occasionally service multiple vehicles in one location and coordinate with external dealers to streamline repairs.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed and test results using mobile service software.
• Maintain a clean and organized mobile service vehicle and inventory of tools.
