Job summary

Suburban CDJR of Troy is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our high-volume service team. The position offers opportunities to work with the latest equipment, manufacturer certifications, and ongoing OEM/ASE training.

On-site role with a path for advancement within Lithia & Driveway’s extensive network. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles across engines, electrical, drivability, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC, while focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications and automotive certifications required.
• Experience with engines, drivability, electrical, brake, steering, suspension and HVAC systems.
• 1+ ASE certifications; master technician status valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately to dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs across engines and systems.
• Road-test and quality-check repairs to ensure first-time accuracy.
• Document repair findings, tests, and completed work clearly.
• Maintain a safe, organized, professional work environment.
• Participate in OEM and ASE training to stay current with vehicle tech.
• Collaborate with service advisors to deliver excellent customer experience.
