Suburban Hyundai of Troy is hiring a Mainline Automotive Service Technician. The role offers a $30-$50 flat rate pay scale depending on experience, with the schedule to be discussed during the interview process.

The successful candidate will diagnose malfunctions, road-test vehicles, document repair details, and maintain tools and certification requirements. High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certifications encouraged.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience as a mainline automotive technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles per repair orders.
• Road-test repaired vehicles to ensure quality.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time-logging procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test results.
• Maintain and inventory standard mechanic tools and equipment.
• Complete required training and pursue manufacturer and ASE certifications.
