Job summary

Northside Auto Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Mobile Service Advisor to sell and schedule needed mobile service work within the Service department. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Service Manager and requires strong communication with customers to coordinate repairs and expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates pick up and delivery for Mobile Service customers.
• Schedules service appointments and obtains vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Writes up customer’s vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
• Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establishes “promised time.” Checks with dispatcher, if necessary.
• Obtains customer’s signature on repair order; provides customer with a copy.
• Establishes customer’s method of payment. Obtains credit approval, if necessary.
• Notifies dispatcher of incoming work.
• Checks on progress or repair throughout the day and communicates any changes to the customer.
