Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Union Mobile Route Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities serving a major telecommunications client. This is a mobile role with a company-issued van, tools, and technology provided.

The position operates within the Engineering & Technical Services function, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards while working under the CBA. Strong communication and hands-on technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Universal CFC (EPA) Certification required.
• Experience with HVAC/building systems in commercial/critical environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and meet physical demands.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems across multiple sites.
• Review work orders, estimate labor/materials, and document work.
• Support preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Inspect systems to ensure compliance with design specs and client requirements.
• Safely operate company vehicle and follow safety regulations.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and client representatives.
• Follow CBRE Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) terms and conditions.
