Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Electrician to inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. This role is part of Engineering and Technical Services, providing support and preventive maintenance on systems.

You will oversee electrical and lighting systems, perform installations, and ensure safe operation while reviewing maintenance records to plan proactive schedules. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes. Valid Driver's license required.
• Meet the physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedents.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
• Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems (valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes).
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operating safely.
• Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
