Job summary

Guidehealth in Philadelphia is seeking a Retinal Camera Operator to perform scheduled diabetic eye exams using company-imaged equipment. Expect up to full-field travel to practices and homes, with remote coordination and ongoing training to maintain competency.

You will manage schedules, engage with care teams, and travel logistics while building strong relationships with providers and patients. A healthcare background with related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or greater in a related field.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and multiple healthcare-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 100% of the time to provider practices in the Philadelphia, PA area; reside locally.
• Travel to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exams and engage virtually on non-appointment days.
• Perform diabetic eye exams using company-provided imaging equipment and help close eye exam quality gaps.
• Complete company training on retinal imaging and maintain competency through ongoing sessions.
• Manage daily eye exam appointment schedule and coordinate travel; mileage reimbursed per IRS guidelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with coworkers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Perform other duties to support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success.
