Job summary

Guidehealth is seeking a Retinal Camera Operator - Eye Exam Specialist to perform scheduled diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings) at provider practices across the Atlanta area. You will travel to clinics using company-provided imaging equipment and support the closure of eye exam quality gaps.

You will receive full training before conducting exams independently, and travel expenses are covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel daily, up to 100%.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, billing or coding.
• Proficiency with MS Office and healthcare systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exams using company imaging equipment.
• Engage with team members, customers, providers, payers, and care teams on non-appointment days.
• Complete training on retinal imaging procedures before conducting exams independently.
• Manage daily eye exam appointments and coordinate travel logistics with travel expenses covered by the company.
• Support quality improvement efforts and close eye exam quality gaps.
