Guidehealth is seeking a Retinal Camera Operator - Eye Exam Specialist to perform diabetic eye screenings across provider practices. The role requires up to 100% travel within the Philadelphia area, with full training provided. This is a full-time, field-based position with compensation of $22–$24 per hour and remote-friendly work expectations. Travel logistics are coordinated by the company.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to travel daily up to 100% to provider practices for eye exams.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Associate degree or greater in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and healthcare systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with management, co-workers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exams, engaging with teams on non-appointment days.
• Perform diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings) using company imaging equipment.
• Complete company training on retinal imaging and maintain competency through ongoing training.
• Manage daily eye exam appointments and coordinate travel logistics, with expenses covered by the company.
• Build and maintain relationships with co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Perform other duties to support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success.
