Job summary

Guidehealth seeks a Retinal Camera Operator in the Nashville area to perform diabetic eye exams at provider practices. You’ll travel daily, conduct retinal screenings with company imaging equipment, and coordinate schedules with practices. Full training is provided, and miles are reimbursed.

The role requires up to 100% travel and strong attention to detail. The position offers an hourly rate of $25 with incentives and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to travel daily, up to 100%, to provider practices with full training provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 1–3 years in a healthcare setting; knowledge of medical terminology and billing/coding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare-related systems; strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to provider practices daily to perform diabetic eye exams using company imaging equipment.
• Coordinate schedules, confirm appointments, and manage travel logistics with mileage covered by the company.
• Engage with team members, providers, payers, and care teams on non-appointment days.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training in retinal imaging and eye exam procedures.
