Job summary

Miller-Keystone Blood Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Full-time Mobile Collections Specialist (Phlebotomist) to safely collect donations from volunteer donors and provide compassionate, professional donor care.

The role involves processing donors through screening and phlebotomy, ensuring donor safety and compliance, setting up supplies and equipment, and completing daily QC with on-site training and a variable schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification strongly preferred.
• 6 months' experience in a Blood Center or healthcare setting preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Proficient with basic computer skills and office software.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional donor experiences.
• Process donors through screening and phlebotomy systems.
• Ensure donor safety and compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Set up supplies/equipment, complete daily QC, ensure availability.
