Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.

• 2 years proven experience as a phlebotomist.
• Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients using wristbands or documents.
• Prepare supplies and equipment for specimen collection.
• Determine puncture method based on patient factors.
• Draw blood using proper equipment and techniques.
• Label tubes correctly and send for testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards.
