Job summary

Miller-Keystone Blood Center is seeking a Collections Specialist (Phlebotomist) to responsibly collect blood donations and support donor experiences in a healthcare setting. The role offers an anticipated starting salary of $18.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, possible phlebotomy/medical assistant certification, and prior healthcare or donor center experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
• 6 months experience in Blood Center or healthcare environment preferred; 1 year in customer service preferred.
• Excellent English communication and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood donations from donors following standard procedures.
• Operate donor processing systems for screening and collections.
• Ensure donor safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
