Elliot Health System is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist to travel to nursing homes and assisted living facilities to perform lab services. The role includes specimen collection, labeling, handling, transportation, and documentation, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities cover venipuncture, capillary collections, and accurate clerical duties. A High School diploma and valid driver's license with insurance are required, with phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy course or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and maintained.
• Motor vehicle background check will be conducted.

Responsabilités

• Identify patients accurately at collection, label specimens in presence of patient.
• Perform routine and advanced venipuncture across locations and age groups.
• Conduct routine and stat capillary collections including on-call rotation.
• Perform computerized clerical duties, verify orders, and document collections.
• Prepare specimens, operate centrifuges, aliquot samples, and document tests.
