Job summary

TridentCare in Connecticut is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform clinical pre-analytical lab services in a mobile setting.

You will complete routes safely, identify patients, collect and deliver specimens, and maintain equipment while following universal precautions. The role requires valid phlebotomy license (if required) and a valid driver's license; mileage reimbursement is provided.

This full-time shift Monday-Friday with rotating weekends offers competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required)
• Must have a valid State Driver’s license and car insurance
• Good driving record and reliable vehicle
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and specimen handling

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities to collect samples per route
• Identify patients before collecting specimens
• Label, process and deliver specimens to labs
• Maintain equipment and supplies, report status to dispatcher
• Follow safety and universal precautions
