Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform pre-analytical laboratory services in a mobile setting across Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts. You will travel to client facilities, obtain samples at patient bedsides, ensure correct patient identification, and deliver specimens promptly while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

The role requires venipuncture proficiency, a valid state phlebotomy license (if required), and a valid driver’s license with vehicle in good

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; a vehicle in good working condition.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed.
• Collect, label, process, and deliver specimens following physician orders.
• Identify patients accurately before collection and maintain proper records.
• Reload equipment and manage supplies; report status to dispatcher.
• Follow Universal Precautions and maintain sterile, sanitary work areas.
• Communicate regularly with dispatcher and maintain time records.
