Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to deliver clinical pre-analytical lab services in a mobile setting. You will drive to client facilities, collect specimens at patient bedsides, verify patient identity, label and transport samples, and maintain documentation with adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications include a current phlebotomy license (if required), a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, and proficiency in venipuncture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a valid State Driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle for daily routes.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture techniques.
• Demonstrates clear communication with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (nursing homes) to collect samples.
• Identify patients before collection and correctly label/process specimens.
• Deliver specimens promptly and maintain records per instructions.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and a clean, safe work area.
• Follow universal precautions and safety procedures at all times.
