Job summary

TridentCare seeks a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform clinical pre-analytical laboratory services at client sites, primarily nursing homes. You will complete assigned routes safely and timely, following all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, labeling, processing, and transporting to ensure timely delivery. You must have a valid phlebotomy license (if required) and a valid driver’s license with insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a current, valid State driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; vehicle in good working condition.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) to collect samples.
• Identify patients before collecting specimens and ensure proper labeling and delivery of specimens.
• Reloads equipment and transport supplies to ensure prompt delivery; maintain records as directed.
• Maintain universal precautions and follow safety protocols; report unsafe conditions and stock levels.
• Communicate regularly with dispatcher and follow instructions for scheduling and routing.
