Job summary

1046 Health Network Laboratories LLC is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to collect specimens, register orders, and process samples under supervision. You will travel to nursing homes and home draw sites to perform venipunctures and collect specimens in accordance with SOPs.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, documenting expenses, and providing on-call/mobile services as required. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required; BLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Language: Read, interpret rules and write routine reports; bilingual/spoken Spanish may be required by location.
• Math: Basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
• Reasoning: Apply common sense understanding to instructions and problems.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of word processing software.
• Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; BLS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Collects specimens and performs registration, order entry, and processing under supervision.
• Performs waived testing with supervision.
• Travels to nursing homes and home draw sites as needed.
• Performs venipunctures at client locations.
• Maintains inventory and meticulous work area; on-call/mobile services as required.
• Records expenses and performs related documentation per SOPs.
