Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in phlebotomy or specimen collection preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collects clinical specimens and handles patient registration and order entry.
• Performs venipunctures at clients and home draw sites.
• Travels to nursing homes and home draw locations for specimen collection.
• Maintains inventory and a meticulous work area.
• Provides on-call and mobile phlebotomy services as required.
