Job summary

The Health Alliance is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and private residences to collect specimens and service patients. You will follow established procedures, record samples, and keep logs with care and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include transporting specimens, answering calls, coordinating with managers, and maintaining a neat work environment. Nationally certified preferred; HS diploma required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Maintains collection logs and documentation.
• Answers phones and communicates professionally with clients and the general public.
• Reads and complies with department policies and manuals.
• Completes requisitions accurately and documents expenses as applicable.
• Performs clerical duties and assists with inventories.
• Maintains grooming and dress code; adheres to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and private residences to collect specimens.
• Process and package specimens for transport; maintain required records.
• Disposes of biohazard containers per policy.
• Stock supplies and assist with inventories.
• Other duties as assigned.
