Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0.5–2 years related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Basic math and computer skills; ability to collect specimens.
• Bilingual Spanish may be required depending on service location.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures at client sites and home draw locations.
• Collects other specimens and explains collection procedures.
• Registers patients, verifies orders and billing information.
• Travel to nursing homes and home draw sites as needed.
• Stores and transports specimens according to SOPs.
• Responds to customer inquiries about specimen requirements and testing schedules.
• Maintains specimens, supplies and a clean work area.
