Job summary

The Mobile Phlebotomist at Diagnostic-Laboratories- delivers bedside blood collection across client facilities, primarily nursing homes, under supervision. You will follow all policies, complete assigned routes safely and promptly, and ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens.

Responsibilities include driving to facilities, obtaining samples per physician orders, maintaining records, following universal precautions, and keeping the work area clean and compliant with safety procedures

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a valid State Driver’s license and vehicle.
• Proficient in venipuncture and specimen labeling.
• Excellent communication with patients and caregivers.
• Maintain time records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities to collect samples.
• Identify patients and collect, label, and deliver specimens.
• Maintain specimen integrity and safety protocols.
• Report status to dispatcher and keep records.
• Monitor and restock supplies.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety policies.
