Job summary

Trident Care is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Phlebotomist in Middletown, CT to travel to client sites (nursing homes) and collect specimens safely.

Responsibilities include identifying patients, labeling, processing and delivering specimens, maintaining records, and adhering to universal precautions. A state phlebotomy license and valid driver's license are required; mileage reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a valid State Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Excellent communication with patients across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (nursing homes) to collect samples.
• Identify patients, collect, label, process and deliver specimens.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, report status to dispatcher.
• Adhere to universal precautions and safety policies.
• Keep accurate time records and shift logs.
