Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist for a part-time role in Middletown, CT. You will visit client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to collect samples and transport them safely in a timely manner.

The position requires driving a vehicle, proper PPE, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities include obtaining samples, accurate patient identification, labeling and delivering specimens, maintaining equipment, and reporting status to dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; a vehicle in good working condition.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by dispatcher.
• Collect samples at patient bedside, ensuring accurate patient identification and proper labeling.
• Process and deliver specimens, reloads equipment, and report status to dispatcher.
• Maintain proper safety precautions and keep work area clean at all times.
