Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve clients in Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts. You will travel to nursing homes, collect specimens, and ensure patient safety and proper labeling.

The role requires phlebotomy licensure (as required), a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The schedule is full-time with early shifts and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a valid State Driver’s license and car insurance.
• Proficient in venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Excellent communication with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) to collect samples.
• Identify patients accurately before collection and label specimens.
• Process and deliver specimens promptly to the lab.
• Maintain equipment and keep records per instructions.
• Follow universal precautions and safety rules at all times.
• Report status to dispatcher and manage time records.
