Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to provide pre-analytical lab services in a mobile setting across Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts. You will travel to client facilities, collect specimens, and ensure proper labeling and transport of samples.

The role requires a valid state phlebotomy license (where required), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required)
• Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using vacutainer and syringe techniques
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and specimen handling
• Maintains sterile, sanitary conditions and follows safety precautions

Responsibilities

• Drives to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by dispatcher
• Collects samples at patient bedside and ensures proper labeling and transport
• Identifies patients accurately before collection
• Reloads equipment and manages specimens for prompt delivery
• Maintains time records and reports status to dispatcher
• Monitors supplies and reports low stock or expiry
• Adheres to universal precautions and safety policies
