Job summary

Requirements include a current state phlebotomy license (where required), a valid driver's license and vehicle, strong communication skills, and experience with venipuncture. This is a full‑time role with part‑time shift hours available.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state phlebotomy license (where required).
• Valid driver's license; car insurance; good driving record.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using vacutainer and syringe techniques.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations.
• Excellent communication and interaction with diverse patient populations (pediatric & geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Drives to client facilities (typically nursing homes) to collect samples.
• Identifies patients before collection and ensures proper labeling and processing of specimens.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and transportation of specimens for prompt delivery.
• Adheres to universal precautions and safety policies; reports unsafe conditions.
• Maintains time records and coordinates shift with dispatch.
