Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform pre-analytical lab services at client sites, mainly nursing facilities. You will follow routes, collect specimens, ensure accurate patient identification, and deliver samples to designated labs.

Safety and compliance are essential in this role. The position requires a valid state phlebotomy license (if required) and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Current State driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; vehicle in good condition.
• Proficient in venipuncture using vacutainer and syringe techniques.
• Ability to travel to client facilities, including nursing homes, and manage routes.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by dispatcher.
• Collect samples at patient bedside, ensuring proper identification and labeling.
• Process, label, and deliver specimens to the appropriate destination.
• Reload equipment and supplies for prompt delivery.
• Maintain clean work area and follow universal precautions.
• Monitor inventory and report low stock or expirations.
• Record hours and maintain shift schedules; adhere to safety policies.
