Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform clinical pre-analytical laboratory services in a mobile setting. You will complete assigned routes safely, collect specimens at client facilities, and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include driving to nursing facilities, properly identifying patients, labeling and delivering specimens, and maintaining phlebotomy supplies while reporting status to dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a valid State Driver’s license, car insurance, and a good driving record.
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities to collect samples as directed by dispatcher.
• Identify patients before collecting specimens.
• Label, process and deliver specimens to the appropriate lab or facility.
• Reload and organize phlebotomy supplies between routes.
• Maintain records, time logs, and communicate status with dispatch.
