Job summary

ImpactLife in Peoria, IL is seeking a Collection Specialist Driver to support Donor Services Phlebotomy. The role involves donor registrations, screenings, phlebotomy, donor care, and driving large blood center vehicles to transport supplies and team members.

The Full Time/30+ position requires 30–39 hours per week with varied days, evenings, and weekends, plus benefits including paid training, paid time off, and comprehensive health plans.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Have a good, stable work history.
• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures.
• Be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Be able to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time.
• Be comfortable driving larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck and trailer combos).
• Be comfortable driving in various weather conditions.
• Possess a valid driver's license in the state in which you reside and be insurable by our insurance carrier
• Must have REAL ID
• Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals and phlebotomy, and provide donor care during donation.
• Drive large blood center vehicles to transport supplies and Donor Services team members; set up and tear down collection operations; restock supplies.
• Support 30+ hour weekly schedule with varied hours including days, evenings and weekends.
