Job summary

ImpactLife in Illinois is seeking a Collection Specialist-CDL Driver to support donor services. You will perform donor registrations, screenings, physicals and phlebotomy, while safely driving our blood center vehicles to events and centers.

This full-time role requires flexibility across days, evenings and weekends, a valid CDL B with airbrake endorsements, DOT medical card, and a commitment to community service. Training is provided and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Comfortable working with the public and diverse donors.
• Good work history and reliable attendance.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Must be able to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends.
• Willingness to train away from home for up to two weeks.
• Comfort with driving large vehicles (box trucks, tractor-trailers, buses).
• Able to drive in various weather conditions.
• Hold a valid CDL B with airbrake endorsements and be insurable.
• Must have a REAL ID and DOT Medical Certification.
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen and MVR are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor registrations, screenings and phlebotomy.
• Provide donor care during the donation process.
• Drive blood center vehicles to collections and events.
• Set up and tear down collection operations; restock supplies.
• Ensure safety and compliance at all times.
