Job summary

LifeShare Blood Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the mobile collections team in Monroe, LA. You will register donors, perform phlebotomy, and provide donor care during and after donation, traveling to various communities to maintain a steady donor pool.

The role requires a positive, patient approach with strong communication. On-the-job training is provided, with a path from entry to skilled mobile collection specialist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete in-house Donor Services Training Program and proficiency checks within first 90 days.
• Complete CPR/First Aid Course within first 6 months or possess CPR certification; maintain certification.
• Knowledgeable in all collection methods and able to manage collection events.
• Dependable, punctual and have effective communication skills.
• Positive approach toward donors and staff, professional behavior at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.

Responsibilities

• Register blood donors and administer screening assessments.
• Perform phlebotomy and provide donor care during and after donation.
• Support mobile operations by traveling with the donor coach.
• Help cultivate a pool of return donors and ensure a safe blood supply.
