Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana seeks a Donor Box Truck Specialist to perform phlebotomy, support mobile drives, and ensure a positive donor experience. You will operate a box truck, prep collection sites, and maintain equipment while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of front-line experience; familiarity with DOT guidelines and donor care is preferred. The role requires evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant people-facing experience preferred; less than 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a full-size commercial van/box truck and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepares collection site and performs setup, including technology systems (may include quality control).
• Performs donor screening (donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Provides a service-centric donor experience with respectful, compassionate interactions and timely responses to inquiries and complaints.
• Recruits and converts donors for automation (Alyx/Trima) as needed.
