Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Ohio is seeking a dedicated Donor Box Truck Driver to join our mobile collection team in Dayton, OH. You will transport staff and donations, operate the mobile drive vehicle, and ensure a safe, compliant, and friendly donor experience.

Responsibilities include setting up collection sites, performing donor screening and phlebotomy as needed, and coordinating with donors and coordinators to deliver high-quality service daily. DOT compliance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SOPs, safety rules, and operating procedures.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to organize work for productive workflow.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to provide excellent donor-centric service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a van/box truck, transporting staff, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepares collection site and performs setup, including technology systems.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Delivers a positive donor experience with professional, empathetic service.
• Rebooks donors for future donation appointments.
