Akumin Inc. is hiring a Part-time Patient Coordinator for our mobile unit in Port Townsend, WA, partnered with Jefferson Healthcare Hospital. You will greet patients, assist with registration, verify insurance, and help manage care instructions while supporting daily operations in a mobile radiology/oncology setting.

The role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and organizational skills. CPR certification is required before hire, with flexibility for travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and by phone.
• Register patients in various systems and verify insurance coverage.
• Handle patient payments when due and collect time-of-service charges.
• Provide clear pre- and post-appointment instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic systems.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and image delivery.
