Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Patient Coordinator for our mobile radiology units around the Seattle area. This PRN role supports patient intake, registration, insurance verification, and coordination of care in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, accurate documentation, and safe transport of patients within the unit. CPR certification and ability to work at multiple sites are required, with benefits like insurance and PTO noted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire for Mobile Radiology/Oncology.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.
• Able to work at multiple locations and travel as needed.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register patients in various systems and verify insurance.
• Answer phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Collect time-of-service payments when applicable.
• Ensure accurate patient records and documentation for visits.
• Prepare medical records for physicians, patients, and customers.
