Akumin is seeking a part-time Patient Coordinator for our Houghton and Baraga County mobile units. You will greet patients, assist with registration, verify insurance, and provide clear instructions before and after procedures.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to work at multiple mobile sites. You'll maintain accurate records, schedule visits, and support clinical staff with documentation and patient delivery of images when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire.
• Valid state driver's license may be required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone.
• Handle patient registration and verify insurance or authorization.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper stocking.
• Schedule appointments and document patient visits in systems.
